Guercheville 2014-1

The property is in the Caopatina-Desmaraisville segment of the Abitibi Greenstone Belt. This segment hosts the Bachelor gold mine.

The property is near the Guercheville brittle-ductile deformation corridor, which is spatially associated with several gold deposits such the Nelligan and Philibert gold deposits.

The Obatogamau Formation is the predominant geological unit on the property, mainly its middle unit characterized by tholeiitic basalt, often porphyritic with phenocrysts that can reach more than 5 cm in size. Gold is the main target commodity, although silver, zinc and copper occurrences have also been identified.
